What to include (recommended)

  • - SQL Server version and edition
  • - What changed right before the issue started
  • - Symptoms (timeouts, blocking, high CPU, etc.) and approximate start time
  • - Affected application/database names (if you can share)
  • - Any constraints (maintenance window, on-call contact, etc.)
